Drenthe has decided to come along side Third CRC by taking some offerings and agreeing to have 6-8 volunteers to pass out food to those who need it one Saturday every month. What is Feed America Food Distribution?  

 

Once a month Third Church distributes up to 8000 lbs. of food to those in need in our area through the Feed America Program. The Deacons and the Outreach Committee coordinate this program and there are opportunities each month to volunteer for this activity. distribution takes place on the fourth Saturday of each month.

 

It costs about $800 every month for the food to be delivered by the Feeding America.  The truck arrives at 9am Pastor Mark Timmer says a prayer for those requesting prayer. Cars are loaded with food and sent on their way.
